Program Assistant

As the Program Assistant for the Better Way Foundation, Daisy supports the implementation of initiative work plans, monitors awarded grants, and manages program-related projects. She joined the foundation in 2023 and draws on 10 years of nonprofit experience advancing youth development and early childhood education services, helping organizations thrive operationally through strengthening systems and processes.

Prior to joining the foundation, Daisy served as a Coordinator at Project for Pride in Living; there, she equipped families with tools to cultivate and sustain healthy parent-child relationships, navigate school systems, learn about the impacts of trauma on children, and understand the importance of positive child development. She also refined and expanded program efforts to address disparities in chemical and mental health, housing, and out of school time initiatives. Daisy started her career at the Science Museum of Minnesota, providing accessible and educational STEM activities for youth. She earned her B.S. from the University of Minnesota in Youth Studies and Family Social Science.

Daisy resides in the Twin Cities area with her family and enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and exploring the local food scene.
